Rachel Cohen was invited to run workshops at Bush Hill Park Library in Enfield as part of a consultancy with local people about the future development of this local library.
Participants were asked to transform old books into artworks by embellishing or reconstructing them. Some used fabrics and threads, others cut into the books with knives and added wire, beads and paper. All books used for this workshop were at the end of their lives as books and have been given a new life as artworks.
