Digital communications is a fast moving world, sometimes clients know that they need to embrace it, but don't have the knowledge or time to find out how. I can guide you through the process of brainstorming, scoping, resourcing and implementing a project from beginning to end.

Appropriate technology

I believe strongly in finding the right mix of technology to fit the application. Some developers recommend a technology solution because it's what they do, or what they'd like to do, not because it's best for the client.

The integrity of the solution is paramount, and I would always bring in the appropriate expertise when needed. Pragmatism is an essential part of this mix, and the challenge is often to find the best balance between features and budget.

Project management

I'm very comfortable working with clients, planning budgets and timescales, and scoping projects to fit the client's needs within what's feasible to achieve.

Working with educational publishers to create series of CD-ROM's containing many resources, I've played a key role in easing the production processes, creating systems to get content from the client into a form that can be used in the product.

Resourcing

Living and working in Lewes and Brighton, I am plugged in to a vibrant network of creatives and developers that I can draw on. If I don't have a skill that's needed, I'll know someone who has.
